skip pavilion

The Skip Pavillion is used for organising a wide range of events, from conferences and exhibitions to workshops. It is a prefabricated construction with a wooden framework. At both ends, the metal covering features two horizontal openings.

The Pavillion takes its name from the carts that transported iron ore up an inclined lift to the throat armour for loading the blast furnace.

The Skip is located near the Raemerich roundabout in Esch-sur-Alzette, next to the “Centre National de la Formation Professionnelle Continue” (National Centre for Ongoing Professional Training) at 10 Henri Koch Street.
