All projects are monitored by the Artistic Advisory Board and the respective Directors of Residency. The Advisory Board is composed of five distinguished personalities from the world of art and culture. It is set up for the duration of one project. The Artistic Advisory Board for the following project will be formed of three of the members of the previous Board who will co-opt two new members. This is designed to ensure that the Board is both permanent and constantly renewed.

The Artistic Advisory Board will submit to the Board of Directors of Fonds Belval the themes and schedules of the projects as well as the candidate chosen as Director of Residency and the participating artists. It will closely monitor the progress of the project.
